Academic Requirements
The Master of Arts in Arts Management program is geared toward professionals from a wide variety of skilled backgrounds. Diversity is sought in our applicants and candidates will be evaluated on a case-by-case basis.

What are we looking for in our graduate students?

- Undergraduate Work: Potential students must have completed an undergraduate degree and have held a GPA of 3.0 or higher. Undergraduate transcripts are required.

- Application for Admission: Potential students must complete an application for admission to the program. Application deadlines: March 1st (Fall) and October 1st (Spring) To apply for the Master of Arts in Arts Management Program, please visit GMU Admissions at: http://admissions.gmu.edu

- Letters of Recommendation: Applicants should provide two letters of recommendation from faculty members or individuals who have first-hand knowledge of the applicant's academic or professional capabilities.

- Statement of Purpose: Applicants should provide a statement of their intention and goals that specifically address the question: "What will you anticipate doing with your degree?" Length should be two pages or less.

- Personal Interview: Applicants might be asked to interview with at least one member of the program faculty or admissions committee. If applicable, the Arts Management office will arrange for an interview with the applicant.

- Criteria:
The GRE is not required for Admission. However, submission of GRE scores at or before the application deadline will afford the Arts Management Admissions Committee with more information upon which to base their decision.

- Work experience is required.
