Overview

Unique Characteristics: The Center for the Arts and College of Visual and Performing Arts

The Master of Arts in Arts Management has several unique components. The Center for the Arts - one of the largest performing arts organizations in Northern Virginia and one of the most active in the D.C. metropolitan area - serves as the on-site lab for internship experiences. The program is also distinctive in its internship focus, its orientation toward working professionals as well as full-time students, and its flexible course of study. The diverse curriculum affords students the ability to shape their own particular concentration specialty, following a strong set of core courses, by taking advantage of university electives. All these components serve to build an arts network with our community partners and are vital in the career placement of graduates from the Master of Arts in Arts Management program.
