Wolf Trap Internship Propels Mason Arts Management Student to Success

Arts management minor and music major, Alex Interlandi, spent her summer learning first hand what it takes to make a major arts organization run.  Interlandi was selected as a development intern for the Wolf Trap Foundation for the Performing Arts, assisting the major gifts team in securing annual gifts of $25,000 or more. “This is the first [internship] I’ve walked away from and said, ‘Wow, this is what I want to do.’” Interlandi, a music major and arts management minor, says. “I’m still able to keep the music and keep the arts in my life without performing or teaching. I think I’ve found my niche.”
