    Rick joined Mason in 1991 as Artistic Director of Theater of the First Amendment (TFA) and a member of the theater faculty. The company, which presented its final programs in 2012, was nominated for 38 Helen Hayes Awards, winning 12, and originated numerous works that went on to other regional theaters, television, radio, and publication.

  • Paige Gold

    Paige Gold is a media-entertainment lawyer with two decades of experience advising non-profit and for-profit arts organizations. She spent two decades in Los Angeles before returning to the area where she grew up, and currently represents artists, writers and arts-related businesses on both coasts. Her arts management background includes a two-year stint as managing director of a professional theater company. Arts fun fact: “My favorite artist is Edward Hopper. I’m sure this says something about my personality!”

    Claire Huschle is the founder and director of Scaffold, LLC, a project support firm for artists and arts organizations. Her diverse portfolio of projects and collaborations includes those with the DC Commission for the Arts and Humanities, Hamiltonian Artists, the Urban Soils Institute, and Insight Property Group, among others. Her work with individual artists includes identifying funding and residency opportunities, grant writing, and budgeting and business support.
