Arts Management Hosting Guest Lecture on Cultural Policy in the Mediterranean.

Arts Management is pleased to host Karsten Xuereb, visiting arts administrator from Malta. Please join us for an expert lecture on Cultural Policy in the Mediterranean followed by a Q&A on Thursday, September 28, 2017 from 6:30 to 7:30pm on Arlington Campus, Founders Hall Room 118.

Karsten Xuereb Bio:

Karsten Xuereb read for a PhD in cultural relations in the Mediterranean at the Universitat Rovira i Virgili in Tarragona, Spain (2012) and an MA in European Cultural Policy and Management at the University of Warwick, UK (2005) as a Chevening Scholar. He was Executive Director of the Valletta 2018: European Capital of Culture Foundation (2011-2017) and Cultural Attaché at the Permanent Representation of Malta to the EU in Brussels (2006-2011). He currently carries out research for the Superintendence of Cultural Heritage in Malta and is involved in preparations for the European Year of Cultural Heritage in 2018. He lectures part-time in cultural policy and intercultural relations at the University of Malta.
