Students must complete a one-credit capstone project, which includes a research paper and presentation, to earn the Arts Management MA.
Your final experience in the Arts Management program will be the completion of a rigorous capstone project, in which you will demonstrate mastery in a specific area.
Faculty will provide guidance and feedback on the topic of your choice, which will culminate in a paper and public presentation to your peers in the arts.
Students are required to work with an external peer reviewer, a practicing arts manager with connections to their capstone topic. The reviewer will provide insight and feedback on all drafts of the final paper and presentation.
We advise students to starting thinking about potential capstone projects from day one and speak with faculty to help refine their ideas.
You will register for the capstone after completing all core course requirements for the Arts Management MA.
