Laith Alnouri is the Director of Advancement for the Smithsonian Arts and Industries Building. Previously, he was the Deputy Director of Development, Partnerships and Corporate Relations at The Phillips Collection in Washington, DC as well as the former Director of Marketing at the Corcoran Gallery of Art and College of Art + Design, and led marketing efforts related to exhibitions, college programs, public programs, membership, fundraising, external partnerships, and special events. Laith has over fifteen years of experience in marketing and business development at non-profit and for-profit institutions, exclusively in the fields of higher education and the visual arts. Laith acquired his graduate degree in Arts Management from George Mason University, where he currently serves as an adjunct faculty member for a graduate course in marketing and public relations for the arts. Laith sits on the board of the Arlington Arts Center and on the Committee for Partnerships & Alliances with Destination DC. He is also a member of the Public Relations and Marketing Network of the American Alliance of Museums.
