European Network on Cultural Management and Policy Seeks Multiple Positions

Based in Brussels, Belgium, the European Network on Cultural Management and Policy is seeking a Project and Membership Officer as well as a Communications Officer. Established in 1992 in Warsaw, ENCATC is an independent organization and the only European network in the field of cultural management and policy. Currently, it is made up of more than 150 member institutions in over 45 countries. Project and Membership Officer:
The main task of the Project and membership Officer is to ensure: 

  • an effective and efficient support in the administration, programming and financial implementation of ENCATC annual workplan
  • the expansion of the ENCATC membership globally

Candidates must be able to work independently and will need to complete a wide range of activities requiring clear, effective communication, critical thinking, ability to work in a team, excellent organizational and interpersonal skills as well as attention to detail.

Communications Officer: 
The main tasks of the Communications officer are:

  • Develop, write and edit content for website, newsletter, social media, brochure, news, articles, reports, press releases – including layout video / audio editing
  • Review and update the ENCATC website
  • Promote communications materials through appropriate social channels
  • Track analytics and create reports detailing successes and failures of communications campaigns
  • Ensure that the organization webpage is regularly updated
  • Ensure that all communications material aligns with brand standards
  • Maintain digital media archives including photos, recordings, and videos
  • Work with the communication strategist and director to conceptualize and implement communications strategies and campaigns
  • draft press releases and perform media outreach to achieve brand placement in publications
  • Coordination of external service providers (web design, layouts for print, printers, web host)
