The Washington, D.C. metropolitan area is one of the nation’s largest concentration of performing and visual arts organizations. You'll have countless opportunities for internships, networking, and career development.
A majority of graduate courses are conducted at Mason Square, formerly known as Arlington Campus, which is a short walk from the Metro and a 15-minute train ride to D.C. Arlington boasts a number of arts and cultural features students can engage with including Arlington Arts Center, Signature Theater, Synectic Theater, and Fred Schnider Gallery of Art. Surrounding Mason Square, there are over 100 restaurants, bars and coffee shops all within walking distance in the Ballston, Virginia Square and Clarendon neighborhoods.
Undergraduate courses are held a little further west on the Fairfax Campus, a 30-minute drive from D.C. and also accessible by Metro bus and train.
